In 2008 Jumping He, an admirer of Georg Staehelin’s work, turned Staehelin’s distinctive handwriting into a font type. He sent him a congratulation letter typed in this font on his birthday. Georg Staehelin’s answered with joy: „I almost thought I was so old that I had actually written to myself!“
